Official BSI Financial Borrower Portal

BSI Financial's official borrower portal is MyLoanWeb, accessible at bsifinancial.com. This guide helps you navigate account access — we are not affiliated with BSI Financial and do not collect your login information.

How to Log In to BSI Financial (MyLoanWeb)

1

Go to the Official BSI Financial Website

Navigate to bsifinancial.com in your browser. Look for the "Borrowers" or "Login" link in the navigation menu. Be cautious of phishing sites — only use the official domain.

2

Enter Your Username and Password

If you have already registered, enter the username and password you created during enrollment. Your username is typically your email address.

3

First-Time Users: Register Your Account

New users must register using their loan number (found on your welcome letter from BSI Financial), the last four digits of their Social Security Number, and their email address. Complete the registration to create login credentials.

4

Forgot Password?

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your registered email address. BSI will send a password reset link. If you no longer have access to that email, call BSI Financial customer service at 800-327-7861 for assistance.

MyLoanWeb Features and Limitations

The BSI MyLoanWeb portal (bsi.myloanweb.com) is the primary online interface for BSI-serviced loans. Understanding what it can and cannot do saves time and frustration.

What MyLoanWeb Can Do Well

  • View current balance and next payment — Real-time as of BSI's overnight batch update
  • Payment history — Rolling 12-24 months of transactions
  • Escrow account details — Balance, recent deposits, recent tax/insurance payments
  • Statement archive — Download PDF statements
  • Tax documents — Annual Form 1098 (mortgage interest statement)
  • One-time payment scheduling — ACH from your bank account
  • Recurring payment setup — Automatic monthly ACH
  • Payoff quote requests — For refinancing or sale
  • Contact information updates — Address, phone, email

What MyLoanWeb Cannot Do

  • File formal disputes (must be certified mail)
  • Request modifications or forbearance (requires phone or loss mitigation package)
  • Provide legally-compliant escrow analysis disputes
  • Handle bankruptcy-related communications
  • Process loss mitigation applications
  • Provide real-time payment posting (batches overnight)

Portal Registration Deep Dive

Registration for MyLoanWeb requires:

  • Loan number — 10-digit number on your monthly statement
  • Property ZIP code — The property securing the loan
  • Last 4 digits of borrower SSN — Primary borrower
  • Date of birth — Primary borrower

Common registration issues:

  • Recent loan transfer — If BSI just took over your loan (within 30-45 days), your loan may not be fully activated in MyLoanWeb yet. Wait 30 days and try again.
  • Property ZIP mismatch — BSI's system uses the ZIP from your original loan documents. If you refinanced or the ZIP changed, use the original.
  • Co-borrower registration — Only the primary borrower can register initially. Co-borrowers need to be added afterward through account settings.
  • Special characters in name — If your name includes special characters or suffixes (Jr., III), try variations.

Two-Factor Authentication

MyLoanWeb offers optional two-factor authentication (2FA) via SMS or email. Given the financial sensitivity of mortgage information, enabling 2FA is strongly recommended:

  1. Log in to MyLoanWeb
  2. Navigate to Account Settings → Security
  3. Enable "Verification Code" option
  4. Choose SMS or email delivery
  5. Test the setup before logging out

Payment Portal Deep Dive

The payment functionality in MyLoanWeb has several nuances worth understanding:

Payment Timing and Processing

  • ACH payments — Typically post next business day; withdrawal from bank account happens 2-3 business days later
  • Payment cutoff time — Payments scheduled before 8 PM ET on business days process next day
  • Weekend/holiday scheduling — Payments scheduled for non-business days process on next business day
  • Insufficient funds fee — Typically $25-50 for returned ACH, plus any late fees if payment is delayed past due date

Payment Application Rules

Standard payment application (unless you specify otherwise):

  1. Interest for the current period
  2. Principal reduction
  3. Escrow (taxes and insurance)
  4. Late fees and other charges

To apply additional payment specifically to principal, use the "Additional Principal Payment" option separately — not just adding extra to your regular payment.
